Another question I asked myself was whether Anette’s last coat of paint would keep the water from leaking out of our mini pool. We tried it out this week end, and hurray, it worked! Except for the water that evaporates, we’re good! We keep about 20 cm which is enough for a dip during the hottest time of the day. Believe it or not, but in the evenings, it’s freezing cold as the temperature difference is so high!

We’re not the only ones to like it. As I looked closer through Anette’s camera lens, I suddenly found a little visitor.

He had saved himself from drowning by climbing up on one of our fake water lilies, and although he was pretty cute there (our pet lizard!), I knew he’d end up starving to death; so we threw him out.
