Riding in the African bush will always be one of my favourite things…

It’s early rainy season now and clouds fill our sky.

I took my dad to check on the water holes,

…and they have now started to fill with water again.

It’s a little too hot still to bring Sheba along, but in a month or so, she’ll be loving the landscape!

The greenness will come later, once enough water has fallen down on the earth and the ground is certain that the rainy season is here to stay.

But even the barren soil gives a beautiful frame to the precious rain water that are now filling our tapkis.

And although the sky is not offering many pink sunsets at this time a year, the clouds do their part for the weekly Skywatch in the West African Bush. Hope you enjoyed!
