Have you ever cooked beetroots in a solar oven? It’s the simplest possible. You simply put your beetroots, peel and all, in a black pan and place them in the solar oven, without adding any water.

Then you let the sun do the cooking.

When you take them out, the peel slips off naturally, leaving a soft, well-cooked beetroot full of taste. I love beetroots and know of no better ways of cooking them than in the solar oven, where no taste is lost.

Vackert! Om man ändå hade gillat rödbetor…
Don’t like beets, but love the solar cooking.
YUM! I love beets, too.
Wow! This IS tempting.
I’ll pass on beets. Your stews and casseroles are much more appetizing.
I love beets, particularly roasted beets. Yours look delicious.
Yum! I do this also with eggplants – put in a whole eggplant, get it out a few hours later and mash it with some lemon and garlic. Yum!
