One of my 2012 commitments was to take all three dogs (including 12 year old Dennis) for a daily walk. It’s been a good commitment and according to Dennis, who cannot accompany us on our bush rides, the evening walk is the greatest highlight of the day. For me, it’s been a good time to leave all office work behind and emerge myself into the world of my faithful canine companions. The sky, as always, is a beautiful jewel and wraps up the day so beautiful. Sometimes I bring my camera, sometimes I don’t. On this particular occasion, my camera was at hand when we met a crowd of children who, both afraid of and fascinated by the dogs, climbed onto a rock and chattered away cheerfully. The sunset was gorgeous and they all crowded up on their safe place to pose for a picture.
Sweetest Africa…

Beautiful sky!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Terrific shot.
If they knew how friendly the dogs are you wouldn’t have gotten this great shot.
The silhouette of the children is so interesting, with the setting sun! I take my dogs for a walk in the morning, before I am awake enough to do anything else…
I love this picture!
Beautiful photo.
Regards and best wishes
